Carol is an artist with a Master of Fine Arts & Bachelor of Fine Arts Degrees from the Maryland Institute, College of Art. She has taught art classes in the past and is now a professional artist working in painting, sculptures, fabric work, and of course mosaics.

The house was purchased in 2000 and mosaics were first added to our home in 2003. Now, most of the kitchen, bathrooms, back yard fence, and sides of the house are covered in mosaics. Literally miles of tiles!!

Blake is a self-taught artist. He ventured into stained glass at first, then found his passion in mosaics. Blake started the mosaics on the house in 2003 and has kept his passion going for more than 20 years.
